THIJS TERLOUW

DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

Thijs combines over 10 years of hands-on technical experience as a backend developer and architect with an interest in business development. He helped build much of what is currently powering the Spil portals. With a small but dedicated and skilled team he runs an automated and scalable stack in the public cloud.

In his role as Director he ensures that daily operations run smoothly and that we prioritize the various technical projects to maximize business value. Besides managing, Thijs enjoys still doing code-reviews and rolling out changes to microservices or infrastructure.

Thijs has a master in computer science from Delft University of Technology and worked for five years at Tencent in China.

TOM HOENCAMP

HEAD OF MONETIZATION A.I.

Tom is an online advertising professional with nearly 10 years of experience. As Head of Monetization, he is responsible for all the advertising activities including affiliate marketing within Spil Games.

Together with his team, he manages billions of ad impressions every month. Goal is to enable our partners to find the best suitable target audience and to show relevant advertisements to our players.
Tom is always exploring new opportunities to facilitate the ad inventory better. SPIL Games is among one of the first European publishers to implement header bidding on a large scale.

He started his Spil Games journey 5 years ago as a Yield manager and grew to the position he holds now. Prior to SPIL Tom worked at several large news publishers, including De Persgroep and Wegener media.

Tom is holding a bachelor degree in Management, economics and law and studied Online Marketing and Business intelligence alongside his day to day job.
